Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

The Mad Inspector is developed and published by KABOOM Game Developers (“KABOOM”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). For privacy questions or requests, contact themadinspector715@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

The Mad Inspector does not require a separate KABOOM account. KABOOM does not intentionally ask players to provide their name, postal address, payment-card information, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or other directly identifying information through normal gameplay.

The game may create or use information needed to operate on your device, such as game settings, progression and save data. Depending on the Meta Quest platform, SDKs, operating system and diagnostic services used to distribute or operate the game, technical information such as device type, app version, performance data, crash information, entitlement status or similar platform data may be processed by those services.

If you email us for support, we receive the information you choose to include in your message, such as your email address and any files or technical details you send.

3. How we use information

We use information only as reasonably necessary to:

• operate and maintain the game;
• save settings and gameplay progression where applicable;
• troubleshoot bugs, crashes and compatibility issues;
• respond to support requests and player feedback;
• protect the game and our services from misuse; and
• comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing of information

KABOOM does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by platform and service providers that help distribute, operate, secure or diagnose the game, such as Meta in connection with Meta Quest / Meta Horizon services. Those providers handle information under their own terms and privacy policies.

We may also disclose information when required by applicable law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety and security of users, KABOOM or others.

5. Meta Quest and third-party services

The Mad Inspector is distributed through third-party platforms, including Meta Quest / Meta Horizon Store. Meta may independently collect and process account, device, purchase, entitlement, usage, diagnostic or other information according to Meta’s own privacy terms. KABOOM does not control Meta’s independent data practices.

6. Data retention

Local save data and settings may remain on your device until they are overwritten, deleted through the game or device, or removed when you uninstall or reset the application, depending on platform behavior.

Information that you send directly to us for support is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to address the request, maintain relevant business records, protect against abuse, or meet legal obligations.

7. Your privacy choices and deletion requests

You may request access to or deletion of personal information that KABOOM directly holds about you by emailing themadinspector715@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy Request”. Please provide enough information for us to identify the support interaction or data you are asking about. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.

For data controlled by Meta or another platform provider, requests must be made through that provider’s account or privacy tools.

8. Children’s privacy

The Mad Inspector is intended for teens and adults aged 13+ (or the applicable minimum age in the user’s region) and is not directed to children below that age. KABOOM does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through normal gameplay. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information in our possession. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

10. International processing

Platform or service providers used by the game may process information in countries other than the country where you live, subject to their own privacy terms and applicable law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the game, our data practices, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
